The Digital Lab and the S’LAB at HEC Liège have just published a unique practical guide to help companies and organizations reconcile digital transformation with sustainable development.

This guide is the result of a year-long research project led by researcher Sophie Pirotton, with the support of the Walloon Region (Digital Wallonia strategy) and co-financing from nine partner companies and organizations.

The originality of the project lies in the active involvement of the partners, who contributed to the development of the content during four days of workshops organized in collaboration with the Belgian Institute for Responsible Digital Technology, which also featured presentations by experts.

The guide is structured in four chapters:

  1. Green IT,
  2. Human IT,
  3. IT for Green,
  4. IT for Human.

It offers practical guidelines for integrating responsible digital technology into organizational strategies.
